From Lanterns to Samurai: Asian Themed Slots Springbok Stocks
Springbok's lobby holds 28 Asian themed slots on our count of the Slots tab, read on 9 October 2026: Chinese fortune games, zodiac tigers and horses, warriors, an empress, samurai and one Thai title. It is our largest shelf, and every title on it from the lobby's New Games tab has a spec plaque.

Fortune gods, zodiac beasts and warriors: what the shelf holds
The lobby mixes these games in with everything else; we gathered them by name and art, and the method is explained on our about page. Most of the shelf draws on Chinese imagery, with a Japanese corner and a single stop in Thailand.
Fortune and prosperity
Fortunate Buddha, God of Wealth, Lucky 8, Prosperity Pots: Lucky Coins, Plentiful Treasure, Treasure Sparks, Cai Hong, Fu Chi, Golden Lotus and Panda's Gold. Gold, lotus flowers and lucky numbers do the talking.
Zodiac animals and dragons
Triple Tigers, Lucky Tiger, Tiger Treasures, Kung Fu Rooster, Blazing Horse, Fu Long Treasures and Fucanglong. The last two also sit on the dragons and fantasy shelf.
Festival drums and city lights
Mighty Drums and Shanghai Lights: a festival drum and a skyline after dark.
Warriors and rulers
Three Kingdom Wars, Wu Zetian, Yin-Yang Clash, Zhanshi and Eagle Shadow Fist: battlefields, an empress and martial arts.
Japan and Thailand
Ninja Star, Ronin: Quest of Honor and Shogun Princess Quest bring samurai-era Japan; Thai Emerald is the shelf's only Thai title.
The documented Asian slots, newest first
Every title in this table also has a plaque further down. Here they are lined up by the lobby's release date, newest first, so you can see at a glance which are recent arrivals and which have been in the lobby for years. Each of them was in the lobby's Popular tab when we read it, and the newer ones in its New Games tab as well; both tabs are Springbok's own selections and say nothing about how a game pays.

Prosperity Pots: Lucky Coins: one Springbok press release counts its paylines differently, but the lobby and Springbok's review both give 243 ways, which is the figure used here.
Reading the table
Volatility runs the full range. Mighty Drums is the only documented Asian title the lobby marks low, which suits a longer, steadier session; Blazing Horse and Prosperity Pots: Lucky Coins sit at the other end, both marked high. The others fall in between, as the table shows.
Springbok's reviews add a return to player for Treasure Sparks (95%) and Fu Long Treasures (95%). For Triple Tigers the review quotes a ceiling instead, “Maximum win up to 2,000x the base bet”. A ceiling is the rarest outcome a game allows, not a likely one, and an RTP averages returns over a vast number of spins by many players; neither describes one evening.
Jackpot tiers on the lunar shelf
Named jackpot tiers are part of the fortune theme's appeal, and several titles here carry them. We name the tiers as the lobby tiles list them (the table above has them) and never print amounts: progressive totals move all the time, and a stale figure would mislead.
Fortunate Buddha has the longest ladder on the shelf, topped by a Super Grand, and its tile calls them progressive jackpots. A full spec guide sits on this Fortunate Buddha page.
Treasure Sparks and Blazing Horse stop at the Grand, and both also list a Hold and Spin round on their tiles.
Prosperity Pots: Lucky Coins and Mighty Drums list a Jackpot Pick feature rather than a ladder of named tiers.
A jackpot tier is a prize level, not a promise. The top tiers on any slot are the hardest outcomes to reach, so treat them as part of the scenery rather than the reason to play.
Lunar New Year and the seasonal turn
Lunar New Year falls between 21 January and 20 February, and in January and February this shelf leads our home page. Blazing Horse shows the theme following the calendar: its subtitle Huǒ Mǎ means fire horse, and the Chinese year that began in February 2026 is a fire-horse year. Its lobby release date of 14 January 2026 put it in the lobby a few weeks before the festival.
During those two months, the offer plaque on this page shows Springbok's monthly free spins while a current set is on file; the rest of the year it shows the first welcome coupon. Either way, Springbok's terms treat the Asian titles exactly like any other slot:
Coupon codes must be redeemed in the cashier's Redeem Coupon section before depositing; they cannot be credited retroactively Verified, checked 9 October 2026.
Bets stay at or under R100 until a bonus is fully wagered.
Deposit coupons carry 30x playthrough on the deposit plus the bonus.
Comp points can double on selected titles: when we read the lobby on 9 October 2026, its 2X Double Comps tab listed Olympus Thunderhold, Buffalo Mania Deluxe and Triple Tigers Lobby, checked 9 October 2026. The selection rotates, so check the tab before counting on it.
Fortune symbols and a clear head
No theme leans on luck as hard as this one. Lucky numbers, prosperity pots, gods of wealth and golden lotuses are decoration, though, not odds. Lucky 8 pays according to its paytable like every other game in the lobby, and the lucky symbolism on the reels does not tilt the next spin.
A few habits keep a fortune-themed session in proportion:
Pick by volatility and features, not by how auspicious the artwork looks.
Decide the rand amount for the session before the first spin and leave it there.
Treat a jackpot tier as a prize level you are unlikely to reach, never as a target.
Take a break when a session runs past the time you set.
If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, the NRGP is free on 0800 006 008, and our responsible gambling page explains the deposit limits and self-exclusion Springbok says it offers.
Spec plaques for the documented Asian titles
Each plaque lists only what is on file. Lobby lines come from the game's tile; Springbok says lines come from Springbok's reviews. Jackpot tiers are named, never valued.

On our count, 28 titles in the lobby's Slots tab, which makes this the largest of our nine shelves. Fu Long Treasures and Fucanglong also count as dragon games, and Triple Tigers as a wildlife game.
Which Asian slots at Springbok have jackpots?
Fortunate Buddha, Treasure Sparks and Blazing Horse list named jackpot tiers on their lobby tiles, and Prosperity Pots: Lucky Coins and Mighty Drums have Jackpot Pick features. We never quote jackpot amounts.
Which Asian slot at Springbok has the lowest volatility?
Of the titles with a volatility on file, Mighty Drums is the only one the lobby marks low. Most titles on the shelf have no volatility published, so check a game's information screen first.
What are the newest Asian themed slots at Springbok?
By lobby release date: Treasure Sparks (16 September 2026), Fu Long Treasures (12 August 2026) and Triple Tigers (15 July 2026). Each was in the lobby's New Games tab when we read it.
Is Triple Tigers an Asian slot or an animal slot?
Both. Its art shows a tiger sage in a straw hat, so it sits on this shelf and on the safari and wildlife shelf.

Fortune symbols do not change the odds, so choose by look and feature, fix the spend in rand before the first spin, and redeem a coupon only when you are ready to deposit.
