Dragons are the largest group on the shelf, and going by their names they come from more than one tradition:
Fire Dragon, Dragon Feast, Dragon Orb and Dragon Winds say "dragon" outright and little else; Springbok has published no details for any of them.
Doragon's Gems uses the Japanese rendering of the word, an unusual spelling the lobby keeps.
Fucanglong is named for the treasure dragon of Chinese legend, said to guard riches buried underground.
Fu Long Treasures is the documented one, covered in the next section.
Fucanglong and Fu Long Treasures also sit on the lunar and Asian shelf, because both draw on Chinese tradition. The A to Z list below flags each of them.
Fu Long Treasures in detail
Fu Long Treasures carries the shelf's only official art and only spec sheet. The lobby dates it to 12 August 2026, and when we read the lobby it was in both the New Games and Popular tabs. Its tile describes 5 reels x 3 rows with 25 paylines and medium volatility, and lists the Fortune Pick, Golden Harvest and Dragon Re-Spins features.
Springbok's review supplies the rest: a return to player of 95% and the line "Top award up to 50,000x the bet per line". Neither figure is a promise about your own play; the top award only marks the upper edge of the paytable.
The rest of the shelf trades scales for spells. None of these titles had a tile description, review or preview on file when we read the lobby, so they are grouped by what their names promise:

Merlin is the wizard of Arthurian legend; Aladdin comes from the Arabian Nights; griffins, half eagle and half lion, guard treasure in Greek and medieval tales; and Loch Ness Loot borrows Scotland's most famous lake monster. Oz Golden Trail points to the Land of Oz, and Lil Red reads like a nod to Little Red Riding Hood. Without spec sheets, the names are all the shelf can honestly offer.
Where the dragon shelf ends and others begin
A dragon can belong to several stories, so the edges of this shelf are a judgement call. A title goes here when its name points to a dragon or to fantasy: wizards, wishes, magical creatures or fairy tales. Gods and heroes from Greek and Norse myth go to the mythology shelf instead, and titles built on Chinese fortune symbols without a dragon in the name stay on the lunar and Asian shelf. Witches and vampires live on the Halloween shelf, fantasy though they are.
Which coupon suits a wide, thinly documented shelf?
This shelf is wide but light on published detail, which shapes how a bonus fits it. The page leads with Springbok's first-deposit coupon, and the side panel shows the no-deposit chip. They work quite differently:

Springbok's pages disagree on the chip's cap: R1,250 on the promotions page and in the T&Cs, R500 on several older Springbok pages Sources differ, checked 9 October 2026. We print both rather than pick one.
The no-deposit chip lets you sample a few unfamiliar titles without paying in, but the wagering is steep and the cashout capped, so treat it as a tasting plate. The deposit coupon gives more to play with and asks for more play in return. Either way, slots count towards wagering, and the coupon goes in before any deposit.
Whatever the coupon, budget first. Springbok's deposit limits and the free NRGP helpline are on the responsible gambling page.

The dragon and fantasy shelf holds 19 titles from the lobby's Slots tab, read on 9 October 2026. Dragons by name make up the biggest group; the rest are wizards, genies, creatures and fairy tales.
Which Springbok dragon slot has published specs?
Fu Long Treasures: 5 reels x 3 rows, 25 paylines and medium volatility on its lobby tile, and a return to player of 95% in Springbok's review.
Why is Fu Long Treasures on two shelves?
It is a dragon game rooted in Chinese tradition, so it is listed here and on the lunar and Asian shelf, as is Fucanglong.
Are there wizard or genie slots at Springbok?
Yes. Merlin's Riches and Magic Forest: Spellbound bring wizards and spells; Aladdin's Wishes and 5 Wishes bring wishes. Springbok has not published specs for them.
Can the no-deposit chip be played on dragon slots?
Yes, because slots count towards its wagering. Springbok's promotions page lists wagering of 60x the bonus (R15,000) and a maximum cashout of R1,250 (promotions page; older pages say R500).
