Springbok Casino's lobby held 244 slots on 9 October 2026, grouped by type, not theme. Theme Shelf sorts 127 of them onto nine themed shelves, from Halloween to dragons.

Every collection, counted
Each count below is the number of titles from the lobby's Slots tab that sit on that shelf. A few games belong on two shelves (a tiger slot can be both Asian and wildlife), so the shelf counts add up to more than 127. Pick a shelf, scroll it sideways and tap a title to open it at Springbok.
Browse slots by theme, including titles such as FAT CA$H and Punky HalloWIN. A title goes on a shelf when its name, its artwork or Springbok's own preview of the game makes the theme plain: Rudolph's Revenge is Christmas, Mask of the Golden Sphinx is Egypt, Nine Realms is Norse myth.
Some themes overlap, while other games have no clear theme:
Cross-listed titles. Ghost Ship sits on both the Halloween and ocean shelves; Fu Long Treasures counts as Asian and as a dragon game; Triple Tigers is on the Asian and wildlife shelves. Each shelf's A to Z list says where else a title appears.
Titles left off. Plenty of the lobby has no single clear theme: fruit machines, classic sevens, Vegas glitz, candy and cash games. Those stay off the shelves rather than being forced onto one.
Games not yet in the lobby. Springbok sometimes announces a slot before it appears. Those show as "Announced" on the shelf, with the date Springbok gave, and are not counted.
The other eight shelves are below, each one showing its first eight titles here; open a collection to see all of them.

A theme is the paint on a slot, not the engine. Two games on the same shelf can play nothing alike. On the Halloween shelf, Crimson Castle is a recent release on 5 reels x 3 rows with 10 paylines and a Hold & Spin feature, while the Bubble Bubble games are older witch-themed titles built around free games. Springbok's review puts Crimson Castle's return to player at 95%, a long-run average across all players, which says nothing about how a single session will go.
So use the shelves to find the look you enjoy, then check three things before you play a title for real money:
Volatility. Where the lobby tile states it, the spec plaque shows it. Higher volatility means longer dry spells between bigger hits.
The feature. Hold & Spin, free games and cascading wins each change how a balance moves. The plaque lists the features Springbok has described.
Practice first. Springbok says logged-out visitors get a practice balance, so you can try a title before you stake anything.
Only some titles have spec plaques, because only some have listed details. Where a figure is Springbok's own (from a review or article rather than the lobby tile), the plaque tags it "Springbok says". Where sources disagree, the figure is left out instead of picking one.

The shelf at the top of this page changes with the calendar: Halloween in October, Christmas through November and December, the lunar and Asian shelf in January and February, and the safari shelf for the rest of the year. Springbok's own promotions follow the seasons too: while a monthly free-spins feature is running, its coupon, its game and its end date sit in the brass plaque at the top of this page.
Read that plaque's small print before you redeem. Spin winnings carry their own playthrough and a cap on what can be withdrawn, and the spins work on one named game only, which is not always a title from the seasonal shelf. A coupon also has to go in before you deposit: Coupon codes must be redeemed in the cashier's Redeem Coupon section before depositing; they cannot be credited retroactively Listed, terms updated: 9 October 2026.
Bonus rules that apply on every shelf
Themed slots are ordinary slots as far as bonuses go. Springbok's terms count all slots towards wagering unless an offer says otherwise, cap bets at R100 while a bonus is active, and ask for the coupon before the deposit. These are the standing codes from Springbok's promotions page, with the terms that travel with them:

Springbok's pages disagree on the no-deposit cap, so both figures are shown. The welcome package totals R11,500 over three deposits.
Bets on games that do not count can void a bonus, and most table games and video poker are not on the list. On a slot shelf that is rarely a problem, but it matters if you wander from a themed slot into a blackjack table with a bonus still running.

Responsible gambling
A shelf is a menu, not a mission
Browsing by theme makes it easy to keep clicking from one shelf to the next. Decide what an evening of play may cost before you open the lobby, and treat that amount as spent. Gambling is for adults aged 18 and over.
The amount. A rand figure you could lose without missing it this month. Write it down.
The time. Set an alarm for the end of the session before the first spin, and stop when it rings.
The shelf. One collection and one or two games. Hopping between nine shelves makes a session longer, not luckier.
Signs it is time to stop
You raise the stake to win back what you lost.
Sessions run longer than you planned, again and again.
You hide how much you play from people close to you.
Gambling feels like the way out of a money problem.
You feel irritable or flat on days you do not play.
Before you open a shelf
Play money you would otherwise spend on a night out, never rent, debt payments or savings.
Keep to your amount even after a win; a win is not new budget.
A free-spins coupon is a bonus with conditions, not a reason to deposit more.
Skip a session when you are tired, upset or have been drinking.
Springbok's own tools
Springbok says players can ask its support team for daily or monthly deposit limits and for self-exclusion of at least one month (Springbok's responsible gaming page, terms updated: 9 Oct 2026).
Worried about someone else's play? The NRGP supports family members too, and its counselling is free and confidential.
18+ only. Help is free, confidential and open around the clock.
Sorted by theme, the lobby's Slots tab gives nine clear shelves: Halloween (15 titles), Christmas (15), lunar and Asian (28), safari and wildlife (16), Egyptian (6), mythology (13), ocean (13), sport (7) and dragons and fantasy (19).
Can you filter Springbok's lobby by theme?
Not by theme. The lobby's tabs split games by type, such as slots, table games, video poker and new games, which is why this guide does the theme sorting by hand from the Slots tab.
Does a slot's theme change its RTP or odds?
No. The theme is artwork and sound. Return to player and volatility come from the game's design, and they differ between titles on the same shelf. Springbok publishes them only for some games, which is why only some titles have spec plaques.
Which Springbok slots suit Halloween?
The Halloween shelf opens with Crimson Castle, Bubble Bubble 2, Count Spectacular, Halloween Treasures and Punky HalloWIN, and holds 15 titles in all, from haunted castles to zombies and witches.
Do themed slots count towards bonus wagering?
Yes, as slots. Springbok's terms count all slots towards wagering unless a promotion says otherwise, with a R100 maximum bet while the bonus is active.
Pick a shelf, then open the lobby
Nine shelves, one lobby: settle on a theme and a rand limit, redeem your coupon in the cashier before the deposit, and let the session end when the limit does.
