Egyptian Slots Springbok Lists, From Cleopatra to the Sphinx
Springbok's lobby held 6 Egyptian slots when we read it on 9 October 2026: the Cleopatra's Gold family, Egyptian Gold, Mask of the Golden Sphinx and Pyramid Pets. Both Cleopatra titles with spec sheets carry the lobby's high volatility label. Shadow Gods, which Springbok dates to 14 October 2026, was not in that list and is not counted.

The shelf leans heavily on one queen. Cleopatra's Gold is the original, with a lobby release date of 15 February 2002, and it was still in the lobby's Popular tab when we read the list. Jackpot Cleopatra's Gold followed on 7 April 2021, and Jackpot Cleopatra's Gold Deluxe completes the set.
The names suggest small variations, but the lobby tiles show real differences. The original pays on 20 paylines and lists a "Local random jackpot". The jackpot edition reads "25 paylines, fixed bet" and describes its pot as "Network progressive, symbol driven". Both tiles give the same volatility label, high, the lobby's word for games whose wins tend to arrive less often and less evenly.

Springbok publishes no return-to-player figure for any of the Cleopatra games. Volatility is the lobby tile's own label, not a measurement of ours.
None of this predicts a session. A volatility label describes the shape of results across a very large number of spins, not what the next one holds, and it says nothing about the size of any jackpot.
Random jackpot or network progressive?
Two different jackpot ideas sit on this shelf, and each tile names its own in a few words. Read literally, a local random jackpot belongs to that one game and can land on a spin without a set symbol combination. A network progressive, in the usual sense of the term, is a pot shared beyond one game that grows as people play, and "symbol driven" says that landing particular symbols is what wins it. Springbok does not spell out the trigger rules on the tiles, so treat this as a reading of the labels, not a published rule.
Both Jackpot Cleopatra's Gold and its Deluxe edition were in the lobby's Progressives tab on 9 October 2026, next to titles from other themes. Springbok's pages show running jackpot totals, but those move by the minute, so this guide never prints them. A separate guide to Springbok's progressive games covers Jackpot Cleopatra's Gold in depth.
One more jackpot is easy to mix up with these. Springbok also runs an opt-in Lobby Jackpot that sits across its slots rather than inside one game: Opt-in Lobby Jackpot: enrolled players place a compulsory R0.08 bet on every slot spin; wins are paid as real money with no playthrough unless won while playing a deposit bonus or cashback; free bonuses cannot contribute Verified, checked 9 October 2026. It is a side bet you choose to join, not a feature of the Cleopatra games.
Gold, a sphinx and some pyramid pets
The rest of the shelf is known by name alone. Springbok had not published a tile description, review or preview for these titles when we read the lobby, so all the shelf can tell you is what each name sets up:
Egyptian Gold keeps it simple: treasure from the age of the pharaohs, going by the title.
Mask of the Golden Sphinx points to the lion-bodied guardian of Egyptian monuments and a gilded mask.
Pyramid Pets pairs a pyramid with animals, which suggests a cartoon take rather than a solemn one.
Without specs there is nothing honest to say about their volatility, features or returns. If one catches your eye, open it with Springbok's practice balance before staking anything: Springbok says logged-out players get a one-off R1,000 practice (fun-money) balance that does not renew Springbok says, checked 9 October 2026.
If you came for gods rather than pharaohs, the mythology shelf has Zeus, Hades and the Norse realms. And if Pyramid Pets is the one that appeals, the safari and wildlife shelf has big cats and meerkats without the sand.
Shadow Gods: what Springbok's preview describes
Springbok has previewed a new Egyptian slot, Shadow Gods, and gives 14 October 2026 as its release date. It was not in the lobby list we read on 9 October 2026, so the shelf shows it as an "Announced" tile without a link and leaves it out of the 6 counted here.
Springbok has previewed a new Egyptian slot, Shadow Gods, and gave 14 October 2026 as its release date; check the lobby for it. It was not in the lobby list we read on 9 October 2026, so it is left out of the 6 counted here until our next read of the lobby.
Springbok's preview describes an Ancient Egypt theme (Anubis and Horus), laid out as 5 reels x 3 rows with 50 paylines and built around these features:
Coin Feature on 6+ Coins: 3 re-spins, reset by each new Coin.
Grand Bonus when all 15 positions fill with Coins.
Free Games on 3+ Mask scatters: choose Wild Reels or Treasure Spins (6 free games each, retrigger +6).
For the top award, the preview gives "Top award up to 50,000x the bet per line", which is a ceiling, not a likely result. It publishes no volatility or return-to-player figure. Everything above is Springbok's own description from its preview; the game was not in the lobby list when this guide last read it.
Playing Egyptian slots with a Springbok bonus
Every title here is a slot, and slots are on Springbok's list of games that count towards wagering, so a welcome coupon or the no-deposit chip can be played on this shelf. Two rules matter more than the theme:
Coupon first.Coupon codes must be redeemed in the cashier's Redeem Coupon section before depositing; they cannot be credited retroactively Verified, checked 9 October 2026.
Watch the stake.R100 maximum bet on any bonus; winnings from larger bets are voided Verified, checked 9 October 2026. The Jackpot Cleopatra's Gold tile mentions a fixed bet without saying what that bet is, so check the amount inside the game before you spin it with a bonus running.
Set your spend before you open the shelf, not after. Springbok's deposit limits and the free NRGP helpline are on our responsible gambling page.
Cleopatra on file: the spec plaques
Both plaques come straight from the games' tiles in Springbok's lobby, so every line carries the Lobby tag. Neither game has a Springbok review on file, which is why there is no return-to-player line.

Which Egyptian slots at Springbok have a progressive jackpot?
Jackpot Cleopatra's Gold and Jackpot Cleopatra's Gold Deluxe were both in the lobby's Progressives tab. The original Cleopatra's Gold lists a local random jackpot instead. This guide never quotes jackpot amounts.
What is the RTP of Cleopatra's Gold?
Springbok has not published one. The lobby tile gives 20 paylines, high volatility and a local random jackpot, and nothing more.
When does Shadow Gods arrive at Springbok?
Springbok's preview gives 14 October 2026 as its release date. The game was not yet in the lobby list we read on 9 October 2026, so it is not counted on this shelf; check the lobby itself for it.
Do Egyptian slots count towards Springbok's bonus wagering?
Yes, as slots. Springbok's terms count all slots unless an offer says otherwise, and cap bets at R100 while a bonus is active.
