About this guide

About Theme Shelf and how a shelf gets built

Theme Shelf is a small independent guide with one job: sorting the slots in Springbok Casino's lobby by theme, so a player who wants a Christmas game or an ocean game can see every match at once. It is not Springbok's site and is not run by Springbok.

Who is behind it

Theme Shelf is published under its own name. There are no personal bylines or author profiles, and nothing on the site is written up as one person's night at the reels: the site itself is the author, and it stands behind every line. When a page describes a game, it describes what Springbok publishes about that game, with a link to where Springbok said it.

The guide is run independently of Springbok and earns a commission when a reader joins Springbok through one of its links. That arrangement is explained in full on the affiliate disclosure page.

From lobby list to shelf, step by step

  1. Copy the lobby list

We read the Slots tab of Springbok's lobby and copy every title exactly as it is spelled there. The current list was read on 9 October 2026 and held 244 slots.

  2. Sort by theme

Each title goes on a shelf only when its name, its official artwork or Springbok's preview of it makes the theme obvious. Titles that could fit two shelves are listed on both and flagged.

  3. Attach what is documented

Reel layouts, paylines, volatility and features come from the game's lobby tile or from Springbok's own review. Lines from a review or article carry a "Springbok says" tag.

  4. Date and source it

Every page shows when the facts were last checked and links to the Springbok pages they came from, so you can check them yourself.

What this guide will not do

  • Give games or the casino a score, a star rating or a verdict out of ten.
  • Quote progressive jackpot amounts, which move by the minute, or invent winners.
  • Describe sessions we did not have or results nobody can check.
  • Guess at a missing figure. If Springbok has not published a game's return to player, the plaque leaves it out.
  • Pick a side when Springbok's own pages disagree. Where two pages give different numbers, both are mentioned or the number is dropped.
  • Print an expired coupon. Monthly codes switch off on their last day, even on a page that has not been rebuilt.

Spotted a game on the wrong shelf?

Theme sorting is a judgement, and the lobby changes. If a title is missing, misplaced or has been removed, write to hello@springbokcasinos.org with the game name and the shelf. We check the lobby again before changing anything, then update the shelf and its date. Start from the full list of collections if you want to see where a game sits today.
